January Condo Sales for Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL

Condos sales in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores in January were 69 compared to 70 last January.  Prices were down 4%.  52% were under $200K; 30% were $200-$400K; and 17 sold for over $400K.  That’s pretty much on par with last January’s numbers.

January Sales Stats for Baldwin County, AL

Sales for Single Family Homes in Baldwin County, AL for January 2011 were up 42% over the same period in 2010.  There were 158 sales with 73% being under $200K, 21% from 200-400K and 6% over $400K.  

These ratios remained the same from 2010, but median sales prices were down 7%.

January 2011 Sales for Fairhope, AL

January is traditionally slow in Real Estate, and this one was no exception.  However, for the city of Fairhope, total sales for single family homes was 25 – compared with January 2010 when we had only 9 sales.  It’s hard to get meaningful stats from such a low number of sale, but average home prices dropped 21% from January 2010.
